"Nadie tiene mayor amor que éste, que ponga alguno su vida por sus amigos."

Vision - Foster Care

A particular burden that has been placed on our hearts is the need for foster care to be provided for displaced youth, particularly sibling groups.  While many individuals are willing to foster and/or adopt infants, the desire to provide a loving home decreases as the age of the child increases.  The desire for providing foster care also significantly decreases (or disappears) when considering the placement of sibling groups (2 or more children in a single home).  It is our intention to open our home for the foster care of these sibling groups.

Beyond merely providing a safe and loving home, as foster care parents we will have unique 24-hour access to the children and will be able to allow them to experience life in a Christian home, and will also provide us numerous opportunities to share our faith with them.   Additionally, as we interact with the extended family members throughout the foster care process we will have additional contacts that we can share our faith in God with, during a very troubling time in their lives.
