Vision - Bus Ministry

One of the unfortunate truths in ministry is that there are individuals who desire to attend services who are unable to due to a lack of transportation.  This is as true in Starr County as it is in any other part of our world.  It is our desire to ensure that anyone who wants to attend church services has the opportunity to do so.  The Lord has provided for us in that regard by supplying a 14-passenger mini-bus that we will use to transport individuals to services.

As we begin our work on the field we do not currently have a church that we are working to plant.  However, we will be attending services at Iglesia Bautista Betania in the McAllen area and will be using this bus to help support the ministries of that particular church, especially in bringing individuals with us from the Rio Grande City area.  Our bus will also be very useful in special activities and projects, as well as in transporting short-term mission groups as they work alongside us in the valley.

As churches are planted in the valley we will equally encourage them to be active in a bus ministry, and will work with them in acquiring the necessary resources.
