Well, greetings again everyone. It's been a month since our last update and some of you probably thought we fell off the face of the earth. Not exactly. We were just on an extended trip to visit family back east. Call it a mini furlough if you will. It was a 3-week trip that saw us drive from Texas to Ohio, then down to West Virginia, then on to Virginia, then down to Georgia and then ultimately back to Texas. We arrived home Saturday evening. We had been worried about what might happen to the property while we were gone, but were pleased to find that nothing was amiss, other than the grass having grown about 2' and a few planks in the back fence being blown out by wind. The trip itself was very good. We had the opportunity to visit with all of our immediate family and spend some pleasant time together. We also were able to take in some sites, including a visit to the Creation Science Museum in Ohio, Busch Gardens in Virginia and the Savannah River Walk and Historic District in Savannah, Georgia. After 4,000 miles we're glad to be home and have hit the ground running. A week from tomorrow we have a group of 14 that will arrive to begin work on our big construction project. Please continue to be in prayer about that. We have a lot to do and little time to do it in order to be ready for this work. Also, funds are still lacking so pray that they will come in as needed. We are trying to obtain a final headcount for summer camp and should be publishing that in the next day or so. Keep checking back, more to come soon.

This is a photo of the Freeman family, including Aaron's aunt and uncle, grandmother and father and step-mother.

Addie Grace broke her small toe while we were visiting at Aaron's dad's house. Here's a shot of it taped to the next toe.

Here's a photo of the toe. You can see purple coloring and black on top of the foot.

Here's a side shot of the broken toe. (All is healed at this point).

Here's a photo of our family with Melissa's grandfather.

This photo includes Aaron's mother and step-father, brother and his wife and children, sister and her children plus us.

One night Aaron's step-father grilled ribs for us.

On the way to Williamsburg we rode a ferry across the James River.

Here's another shot of the entire ferry.

One night we visited a family friend, Tony, for dessert. This photo is Tony and Melissa's step-mother, Robin.

Robin wanted to show us some of the sights in Savannah. This is a shot of the Georgia Queen, one of the steamboats on the Savannah River.

For lunch we stopped at a restaurant on River Street and had a view of the river while we ate. We are up top in the photo.

A closer shot of us eating lunch by the river.

Melissa's lunch there on River Street, shrimp salad.

Both August and Addie ordered fried shrimp for lunch.

After walking in the heat all afternoon we rode the city bus back to where we parked.

Aaron took the opportunity to help Robin out with a few things around the house. Here he is assembling the new ottoman.

Aaron also installed two pendant lights in the kitchen.

One night we got to go bowling. Here is Addie learning to bowl.

Here is Aaron going for the spare.
