| Sorry for the delay between updates. I've been meaning to get this out for a few days, but unfortunately computer problems have hampered that effort. Apparently, we contracted some sort of "Root Kit" virus and our ISP cut off our connection as a precaution. We are still trying to sniff out which computer has the virus (there are 3 sharing the connection). Right now we think mine is not infected (have run 4 different scanners on it), so they have agreed to turn on our connection as long as JUST my computer is connected. We've also had problems with our router, which was also causing frequent outages of service. So, I installed a new router yesterday. I love computers, but I'm pretty sure I loathe them as well! Not much ministry news to report. Another batch of postcards went out Friday, but no results yet. Visitation continues, but again no fruit to report. We remain optimistic and simply trust as did Noah that our work is not in vain! In other news, Melissa and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary on April 23rd. We didn't do much just a nice lunch with the kids. God has truly blessed us and we look forward to the coming years with anticipation. I will be reporting more in the coming prayer letter, but we are in the process of switching our phone numbers. Our usage does not justify the expenses we are incurring, so we are making dramatic changes to our cell/land line plans. Most of these should be completed in the next week and I will report those changes here on the site as well as in our next prayer letter. Have a wonderful day! |
