A few things for you this evening. First, a prayer request for Addie. Last week she fainted twice and then this weekend she nearly fainted again. She went to the doctor this morning for some blood work and they have scheduled her for a visit to a neurologist tomorrow. We're not sure what the problem is, but just pray that it is nothing serious and that the doctors would have wisdom in both discerning the problem and treating it. In other news, I did meet with the lawyer last week over the property issue. She basically said the situation is a mess and that it will take a lot of work, a lot of time and a lot of money to fix it. I don't relish the thought of any of them, but we do have to proceed, as ownership of the buildings has to be determined before we can proceed with additional repairs. Fortunately, our purchase contract does specifically state we were buying both properties (which the title company tried to say was incorrect) and during a visit to the county clerk today I was able to pull the deed for the 2nd property, which shows it being on our road and within 1000 feet (hard to discern exactly from the written description), but that is a blessing as the title company was claiming it was 10 miles away. So, both of their objections to transferring the property are mute, but we still have to go through the process. As far as the cost is concerned, the Lord has already begun working and in the past week we've received phone calls from two of our supporting churches. The first was informing us that they were going to be sending some funds and just wanted to know where to send them, and the second was calling to see if we had needs, as they have received a large gift and were trying to decide where best to utilize it. Once again our Heavenly Father is providing even before we know about the need or make the need known! In regards to the ministry, I have received notification that the tracts are in printing, so we should be receiving them shortly. I actually received a message from another missionary today who saw the tracts on our website and wanted the contact information for the printer, as he thought the price was very good. We're glad to be able to provide that very small piece of assistance! I've already had requests from members of the church in Mission, Texas for copies of the tracts, as they have friends/colleagues/family that live in our area that they want to give the information to in order to encourage them to come and visit. I will also be visiting a couple of families this week about visiting this Sunday, so please pray those visits go well and that they would indeed come and visit. Not much else to report. A lot of my time at the moment is spent preparing messages, as I'm now preaching 3 times a week compared to once a week at the old church. I'm certainly not complaining, but it is a big change that I'm trying to adjust to. Nothing else today. Have a great night.
