| Greetings from Honduras once again. Well, the conference is going well, but life is sure interesting with the ¨Toque de Queda¨(curfew). We´ve basically been on 24-hour-a-day lockdown since we arrived on Monday. They did lift the curfew for 6 hours this afternoon to allow people to get out and buy supplies, but we´re back under the curfew at this time. Their is still also no news on the airports or other ports-of-entry, so we´re not 100% sure that we will be able to leave on Friday.
Fortunately, the conference itself is going well. We are having the Pastor´s Training Conference more-or-less as scheduled, with over 100 people in attendance each day. We start at 9:00 in the morning and run until at least 1:00 in the afternoon. We then have an evening service at 7:00, which runs for another couple of hours. Everything seems to be functioning smoothly, and the pastors here are responding well to the messages that are being preached.
Tomorrow will be the last day of the conference, so please pray that it will go well, and then also keep praying that we will be able to make it out of the country, somehow, on Friday. I´ll keep you updated as things progress. |
