| Since I last wrote we had an opportunity
to visit with Community Baptist Church in Elberon, Virginia and to
participate in the mission conference at Rural Point Baptist Church in
Mechanicsville, Virginia. Both meetings seemed to go very well,
and we look forward to working with these churches for years to
come. The mission conference was long and tiring, but also very
fruitful. There were meetings on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
evening, Saturday morning and then Sunday morning and afternoon.
The entire church was very friendly and we enjoyed the opportunity to
meet and fellowship with these fellow-servants. Shown below are
photos of the building for Rural Point. It is great to see what
the Lord can use to meet the needs of a church in terms of meeting
space. Community Baptist Church was meeting in a community
center, but after we left had one more meeting before moving into
their newly built facilities. God is good.

banner slipped down during the week, but the church did actively promote

| The weather in Virginia has turned back
to winter! Temperatures last night were in the teens, but so far
the trailer is holding up. We're using a complete 30# propane
tank every other day, but at least it is more or less warm in
here. Some snow and freezing rain is in store for this weekend,
but God is good and right now it looks like it will not interfere with
the meeting we have scheduled, nor with our move on Tuesday. In
other news, we completed our DVD ministry presentation this
week. It was shown Wednesday night at our sending church and
everyone seemed to think it was a good presentation. We look
forward to being able to use this in our meetings this year, and are
thankful that it was able to be completed. We should have it
burnt to DVD soon and will be able to send it to anyone who wishes to
have a copy. We are having one small problem with our computer
burning the DVD's, but believe that it is an issue with the blank
DVD's themselves, so today we are going to purchase a different
brand.

| Just a quick update to inform you that
we have picked up another supporting church as of today. Nebo
First Baptist Church in Nebo, North Carolina becomes our 8th
supporting church. We are very thankful for each and every one
that has chosen to join with us in this ministry of bringing the
Gospel to the people of South Texas.

| It's a new year and we are eager to see
what the Lord has in store for us during 2007. We officially
began deputation last year on July 2nd, but did not really begin
full-time traveling until August. We finished the year having
held 31 meetings (as best as we can count) and having raised almost
12% of our needed support. Our prayer for 2007 is that we will
get to at least 60% supported, but would prefer to come as close to
100% as possible. We cannot do this without the Lord being able
to work through individuals, so we pray that hearts and minds would be
open to join us in this work that God has called us to do.
For now, we are in Powhatan, Virginia. We still have another
week or so until our first meeting of the year, and the beginning of
some very busy times. We are using this period to try and fill
out our 2007 schedule and to catch up on other items we have not had a
chance to take care of. We have two meetings scheduled this
month (one is a missions conference) and then we hit the ground
running in February with 7 meetings, of which one is a missions
conference. This continues into March with 5 more meetings,
including 2 full-week mission conferences. We are thankful for these
opportunities and look forward to what God has in store for us this
year.
Below are some photos of us relaxing on a Saturday at my parent's
house in Powhatan.
