| RV was fixed today -- took about 15 minutes. Was able to make a few
calls today and have scheduled 1 meeting so far. |
|
|
| We tried to get an appointment to take the RV in for service to
replace the roof vent. It's a holiday weekend, so we could not find anyone to take us in. However, we
received a phone call from a private installer and he agreed to come to us to install a new vent tomorrow.
It's only costing us $10 more than if we went to the dealer! |

|
| On most Tuesdays I make about 150 calls to schedule meetings and get about
3 meetings set. Not much time while here in Resaca, so I only made 3 calls today, but I still got 2
meetings! Praise God! I also got a lead from Atlantic Baptist Bible College about a preacher that has the
money to take on missionaries and wants an ABBC graduate. I called him and will probably have that meeting
finalized by tomorrow. |

|
| God continues to allow us to be tested through problems with our
vehicles. We now have an ABS light on in the truck. When you're pulling a 15,000# trailer, brakes are
one thing you want to function properly. We called the Ford dealer and they believe it is just a sensor,
but we're going to have to wait until we get back to Powhatan to have it serviced. |

|
| We made it to Resaca, Georgia for our first meeting, but had a small
accident parking the 5th wheel. We arrived after midnight and snagged a low-hanging power line. It destroyed
one of our ceiling vents. Not good when it's raining. We pray it won't cost much to have repaired. |
|
|
| We left this morning for our first meeting in Resaca, Georgia. We
were not sure we would make it, because our truck broke down and had to have nearly $3,000 in repairs before
we left. We do praise God that the repairs were complete this morning, allowing us to make the trip, and
that our extended warranty paid for $2,500 of the repairs! |
